One, both or none of the workshops can be run after the storytelling performance, depending on your available time or budget. I am quite happy to perform the Viking tales in front of the whole school first before running workshops for smaller groups.

THE ART OF STORYTELLING

This can be a brief "taster" workshop lasting an hour and a half or more in depth work lasting four hours.  Using a variety of methods the workshop aims to improve storytelling skills.  These workshops require committed participation but are fun too; as those taking part learn to spin yarns and grab the attention of out listeners!  This workshop has been run in colleges, schools, libraries and art centres for adults and older children.

WOLFSHEAD
Hereward "The Wake" Storytelling performance and workshop.

HEREWARD THE SAXON

A new show using the oldest sources available, relating the exciting tale of Hereward's resistance to the Norman invaders.   From his base in the Fens he and his rebel forces launched a series of daring raids on the Norman army who constantly failed to capture this cunning and brave "wolfshead" outlaw.  Hear of his many adventures making him a kind of early Robin Hood.
